Originally from Los Angeles, CA, I moved to the Bay Area to attend UC Berkeley. At Berkeley I involved myself wherever I could in the campus community, leading campus tours and editing for the student newspaper. My rigorous education enriched my perspective and shaped me into the hardworking, critical, and passionate person I am today. After an intensive, year-long thesis project, I received a B.A. in English with honors. However, in my four years I managed to take a plethora of classes appealing to my other interests, including bioethics, philosophy of religion, hand book-printing, human rights, and medical anthropology. Other enjoyments of mine include food, science, and travel. But most of all, I love people and words, and am working to synthesize those passions into fulfilling work.
